The House on Poultney Road

The House on Poultney Road is so much fun for me to write, the words just flow through my fingertips (quite literally). You see, I have told the stories of Poultney Road so many times over the years to friends and those who love to be scared just as I have been told them by my family growing up.

For legal reasons, I have changed most names, places and some characters, unfortunately, have to be fictional as my Grandad (who is the one who knows it all) died shortly before I was born and I never got to ask him the questions I wish I could have. My Nanny Eileen is no longer with us and died shortly before I started writing my manuscript so I could never ask her for the extra details I would have loved to have added to some of the chapters. I do however, have the facts that she told me before she died as well as all the stories and events surrounding other members of my family who lived in the house with them.

The events that took place inside that evil house on Poultney Road have been put to paper within my manuscript and I have tried to keep the stories I have been told as close to the facts as possible but remember, this is a fiction-novel that is based on true events.

Some of the contents of The House on Poultney Road will scare you and some of it will make you question what you believe. Some of you will believe the story I tell, some of you won't but this book isn't about belief it's about facts and what happened to four generations of my family who have told and retold their stories to me and others for years. I am simply putting their experiences into words that hopefully, you will enjoy reading.

This book is one of the unique ones that left me questioning all those wee noises I heard in the dead of night.
Poultney Road is a easy book to get into & is so well written that I felt like I was actually in the house.....
